2 workers die falling off building in city

Two construction workers died after they fell off from an under-construction building in Mayakanon area under Basabo police station in the capital on Friday (May 17).

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Witnesses said labourers were working in a ten-storied under-construction building in the area. At one stage, three workers fell off from the building around 10:00am. They were sent to Mugda medical college hospital where two of them died under treatment.

Mugda police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Pralay Kumar Saha confirmed the matter to risingbd.
