Fire breaks out at Mutual Trust Bank’s Dholaikhal branch

A fire broke out at the Mutual Trust Bank’s Dholaikhal branch in the capital on Saturday (May 18) morning.

The blaze originated on the 2nd floor of a four-story building around 10:40am.

Deputy assistant director of Fire Service and Civil Defense headquarters media cell Shahjahan Sikder confirmed the news.

On information, five firefighting units rushed to the spot and started working to bring the blaze under control, he said.

No casualties were reported and the reason behind the fire could not be known yet, Shahjahan added.
