Dholaikhal commercial building fire under control

The fire that broke out at a commercial building in the capital’s Dholaikhal area around 10:40am, has been brought under control.

On information, seven firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control after 12 pm.

Confirming the matter, Lima Khanam, duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) headquarters media cell, said, “A probe body has been formed over the fire incident. The reason behind the fire could be known after receiving the report.”

No casualties were reported in this connection.

Earlier, a fire broke out at the Mutual Trust Bank’s Dholaikhal branch in the capital. The blaze originated on the 2nd floor of a four-story commercial building around 10:40am.
