Cyclone Remal: Metro rail operation suspended

The authorities suspended the metro rail services due to inclement weather this morning (May 27).

Mahfuzur Rahman, manager of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd, said the metro rail operation is suspended due to the lack of uninterrupted power supply following inclement weather.

Steps are being taken to normalize the movement of metro rail, he added.

The suspension of metro rail operations caused immense suffering to commuters in the morning.
