Jahidul Islam Bhuiyan made Biman MD

Mohammad Jahidul Islam Bhuiyan, additional secretary to the Prime Minister's Office, has been appointed as the new managing director (MD) of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard on Sunday (May 26).

Earlier on May 21, Shafiul Azim, incumbent MD of Biman, was appointed as the secretary of the Election Commission.

Jahidul Islam Bhuiyan is a BCS (Administration) 18th batch officer. He served as private secretary of Prime Minister's Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman Fazlur Rahman.
