At least 7 killed in Cyclone Remal in Bangladesh

At least seven people died in Bangladesh due to the devastations of cyclone Remal. Apart from this, few more people have been reported missing.
In Barisha, a restaurant owner and his employee lost their lives when a wall collapsed on them during the storm in Rupatali area.
Barishal Katwali Model police station OC Arichul Haque said the incident took place in the area adjacent to Lily patrol pump around 4:00am on Monday (May 27).
In Patuakhali, a youth named Sharif died while protecting her brother-in-law and sister from Cyclone Remal in Kalapara of the district.
Police and local sources said that the incident took place in Kawarchar area of Dhulasar Union on Sunday afternoon.
In Chattogram, a youth named Saiful Islam died when a wall of an under-construction building collapsed in the textile residential area of Bayezid Bostami police station in the city this morning. Later, on information, a team of fire service recovered the body.
In Satkhira, an old man named Shawkat Moral died on Sunday evening on his way to Napitkhali shelter in Gabura union of Shyamnagar upazila of the district.
Gabura union parishad chairman GM Masudul Alam confirmed the matter.
In Bhola, a woman named Marzan died when a tree fell on her in Lalmohan upazila of the district. Besides, another kid named Maisha died in Daulatkhan upazil of the district due the impact of cyclone Remal this morning.
