Govt offices to follow new schedule after Eid-ul-Azha

The cabinet has fixed new office timing of government, semi-government and autonomous organizations in the country.

After the Eid-ul-Azha holiday, offices will continue from 9am to 5pm following the new schedule.

The proposal to extend the office timing by one hour was approved at a cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister’s Office at 10am on Monday (June 3) with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair. 

Cabinet Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain briefed the reporters after the meeting. 

At the press briefing, the cabinet secretary said that the proposal has been approved by fixing the office timing from 9am to 5pm from the first working day after the Eid-ul-Azha holiday.

Currently, the office timing of government, semi-government and autonomous organizations of the country is from 9am to 4pm.
