Rawhide prices for sacrificial animals fixed

The government has announced the prices for rawhides of different sacrificial animals ahead of Eid-ul-Azha, which is likely to be celebrated on June 17.
According to the government decision, prices of rawhides of different sacrificial animals have been increased by Tk five per square feet from the previous year.
State Minister for Commerce Ahsanul Islam Titu announced the prices after a meeting with concerned organizations on Monday.
The prices of raw cowhide have been fixed at Tk 60 per square feet for the capital, which was Tk 50-55 in previous year while at Tk 50- 55 for outside Dhaka, which was Tk 45-48 in previous year.
Besides, the prices of goatskins have been fixed at Tk 20- 25 per square feet across the country while that of she-goat at Tk 18-20.
