Dhaka-Beijing direct flights start in July

Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen has said the direct air travel between Dhaka and Chinese capital Beijing will start from July.

He said this at a research agreement signing ceremony in the capital on Monday.

In the presence of the ambassador, an agreement was signed between the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and Chinese Enterprise Association in Bangladesh (CEAB) for jointly conducting research on strengthening the infrastructure of Bangladesh.

Among others present at the agreement signing ceremony were BUET Vice Chancellor Dr Satya Prasad Majumder, Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr Abdul Jabbar Khan and CEAB President Ke Changliang.
