Risingbd’s Hasan Mahamud gets media fellowship 

Hasan Mahamud, chief reporter of risingbd.com, one of the country’s leading news portals, has received a media fellowship jointly offered by the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection and the Association of Skincare and Beauty Products Manufacturers and Importers of Bangladesh (ASBMEB). 

The media fellowship was announced at the conference room of the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection on Tuesday (June 4) afternoon. 

Director General AHM Safikuzzaman, Deputy Director (Training and Publicity) Atia Sultana, ASBMEB Convener Ashraful Ambia and Joint Convener Jamal Uddin were present at that time. 

The three-month special media fellowship has been announced for the first time in the country.

A total of 31 media persons from national dailies, television channels and government recognized news portals have been selected for the fellowship. 

Hasan Mahamud started his journalism profession in 2002. He worked in Daily Bhorer Dak, Daily Nabaraj, Daily Manabkantha and Daily Bartoman. 

He joined risingbd in 2015. Apart from this, he is involved in research and writing books. So far, he has published 7 research papers and 5 books.
