Modi thanks PM Sheikh Hasina

NDA alliance led by Narendra Modi won India's 18th Lok Sabha elections. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina congratulated him in a letter on Tuesday. Narendra Modi has thanked Sheikh Hasina for her warm wishes on his re-election for the third term.

He thanked Sheikh Hasina through a post on social networking site X (former twitter) on Wednesday night (June 5).

"I look forward to working together to further strengthen our people-centric partnership," he tweeted, saying that India and Bangladesh share historic relations, which have seen unprecedented growth in the last decade.
