Inspector Mamun murder case: IO testify against Arav Khan

DB police inspector Sheikh Mahbubur Rahman has testified in court against the accused Rabiul Islam alias Arav Khan and others in the murder case of the police inspector Mamun Imran Khan.

He testified in Dhaka's First Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge Faisal Atiq Bin Quader's court on Thursday (June 6). Later, the lawyers of the accused cross-examined the witness. However, his interrogation did not end that day. So, the court fixed June 23 for the next day of testimony.

Arav Khan’s lawyer Ruhul Amin confirmed the matter.

With this, the testimony of 20 of the 38 witnesses in the case was received.

On July 9, the body of Mamun was recovered from a forest in Kaliganj upazila in Gazipur district. Later, the victim’s brother Jahangir Alam Khan filed a murder case with Banani police station.
