Court orders to appoint caretakers to look after properties of Benazir

A Dhaka court has ordered to appoint caretakers to look after the confiscated properties of former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed, his wife and children.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Mohammed Ash-Shams Joglul Hossain passed the order on Thursday after hearing a petition filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

ACC’s Public Prosecutor Mahmud Hossain Jahangir confirmed the news.
