PM congratulates Bangladesh team on T20 WC victory over Sri Lanka

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina extended her congratulations to the Bangladesh cricket team for the victory against Sri Lanka in their first T20 World Cup match.

In a congratulatory statement on Saturday (June 8), she congratulated the Bangladesh cricket team for the victory against the Lankans.

Prime Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary Noorelahi Mina confirmed the information.

The Tigers triumphed over Sri Lanka by 2 wickets, with six balls remaining, in their opening match at Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, USA.
