New schedule for bank transactions

Bangladesh Bank (BB) has revised banking hours for the post-Eid-ul-Azha period.

The central bank’s Department of Off-site Supervision issued a notification in this regard on Sunday (June 9).

According to the new schedule, from June 19, people will be allowed to make banking transactions from 10am to 4pm.

Bankers’ office hours will start at 10am and end at 6pm from Sunday to Thursday after the Eid holidays, the notification said.
