Modi sworn in as India PM for 3rd term

Narendra Modi was sworn in today as India's prime minister for the third time in a row, reports times of India.

Modi reached Rashtrapati Bhavan around 7 pm local time. President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath taking ceremony.

Earlier, Jawaharlal Nehru served three consecutive terms as the Prime Minister of India. Modi's name has been added to this list.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Sri Lanka president Ranil Wickremesinghe, Maldives President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu attended the oath-taking ceremony of Narendra Modi.
