Sri Lankan President meets Bangladesh PM

President of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe has made a courtesy meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The meeting was held at ITC hotel in New Delhi, India on Monday (June 10).

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is visiting India to attend the oath-taking ceremony of Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India for a third consecutive term.

Top leaders from Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Bhutan, Nepal, Mauritius, and Seychelles joined the swearing-in ceremony of Modi that witnessed a record presence of over 8,000 dignitaries.
