Sacrificial animal waste to be removed within 24 hours: Mayor Tapash

Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh has announced that the sacrificial animal waste will be removed from the city streets within 24 hours.

The mayor made the promise in front of reporters while inspecting the preparations for the National Eidgah on Wednesday morning (June 12).

He said we had some weaknesses in the removing sacrificial wastes and the vehicles. But this time we are fully capable. Because we have already added 25 dump trucks of 10-ton capacity and 10 payloaders to our fleet with our own funding for waste removal. 15 more dump trucks are being added. So, our fleet of vehicles and machinery is now very rich.

Inshallah, we will be able to remove waste within 24 hours and present Dhaka as a clean city to all, he added.
