Huge crowd at Kamalapur Railway Station

The number of passengers at Kamalapur Railway Station in Dhaka increased on Thursday (June 13) as home-bound people travelling to their hometowns to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha.
Though the pressure of passengers has increased in the train stations, but the home-goers are not facing trouble. Showing the tickets, the passengers are entering into the platform. Trains were seen leaving in time from the station.
The first day of the Eid journey by train started on Wednesday with the inter-city Dhumketu Express.
According to the authorities, although there was some delay in train schedule yesterday, but all trains are running today as usual. As many as 12 trains have left the station till 8:15 am today including intercity and commuter trains. A total of 69 trains including local, commuter, and intercity trains will leave for different destinations in the country today.
Mohammad Masud Sarwar, Railway Station Manager at Kamalapur said that hopefully there will be no schedule disruption in any train. 12 trains left Kamalapur station till 8:00 am in time.
