Eviction drive conducted at Sadeeq Agro Farm

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) conducted an eviction drive this afternoon at Sadeeq Agro Farm in the capital's Mohammadpur area.

Md Motakabbir, executive officer of DNCC-5 region and Executive Magistrate Md Mahbub Hasan conducted the drive this noon (June 27).

Earlier on Wednesday (June 26), DNCC said that drive will be launched to evict illegally built farm of Sadeeq Agro on the site of the Ramchandrapur canal and the adjacent road at Mohammadpur area in the capital.

Sources said that most of the cattle at the farm were removed on Wednesday night following the information of eviction drive.

Asif Ahmed, Councilor of DNCC ward number 33, said that illegal structures are being removed as part of DNCC's regular eviction drive. There is no connection of the drive with goat scandal.
