Youth killed in city road accident

A youth was killed when a pickup truck turned turtle on Bishwa Road in Khilkhet area in the capital on Early Friday midnight (June 28).

The deceased was known as Alfaz, 26, son of Abdul Barek, hailed from Kandasia village of Fulbaria in Mymensingh.

Mahfuz Hossain, elder brother of the victim said that after the accident, the victim was taken to Kurmitotal general hospital first around 12:15 am. Later, he was shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where duty doctors declared him dead.

DMCH police outpost In-charge Bacchu Mia said the body was kept at the hospital morgue.
