Metrorail in every divisional city: Prime Minister

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has announced that metro rail will be built in every divisional city of the country.

The Prime Minister said this while addressing a session on the proposed budget in the parliament on Saturday.

The Prime Minister said that currently metro rail is running from Uttara to Motijheel in the capital. As a result, traffic congestion in Dhaka has reduced to a large extent. Metro has also been considered as a safe vehicle for girls.

She also said that we are already conducting a survey for the construction of metro rail in Chattogram. Metrorail will be launched in every divisional city during my time.
