More load shedding in Gulshan-Banani instead of villages: PM 

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said there should be more load shedding in wealthy areas of Gulshan, Banani and Baridhara areas instead of villages.

Prime Minister said this at a session on the proposed budget in the Jatiya Sangsad on Saturday (June 29). 

“There should be more load shedding in rich areas of Gulshan, Banani and Baridhara areas instead of villages. A 2,000MW load shedding should remind them [the rich] that the electricity for their lavish lives did not just come from the sky, rather it was possible because of us,” she said.
