Diesel, kerosene price cuts by Tk1 per litre

Diesel and kerosene will now be sold at Taka 106.75 per litre down by Taka 1 from the previous rate of Taka 107.75 as the government set the automated retail prices of gasoline for the month of July.

The prices of petrol and octane, however, will remain the same at Tk 127 and Tk 131 respectively.

The Energy and Mineral Resources Division (EMRD) issued a gazette notification in this regard on Sunday (June 30).

Although the prices of petroleum decreased in the global market, the devaluation of the taka against the US dollar has caused the increase in fuel prices locally.
