DMP traffic guideline for Ratha Yatra

The Rath Yatra, one of the major religious festivals of Hindu communities, will begin on Sunday (July 7).
The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (Iskcon) in Dhaka has organized an eight-day event.
On this occasion, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has requested vehicles to use alternative routes in certain areas of the capital.
The main Ratha Yatra will begin at 3pm on Sunday from the Swamibag Iskcon temple in the capital, traversing various streets and concluding at the Dhakeshwari temple.
It will go round Ittefaq Mor, Shapla Square, Dainik Bangla Mor, RAJUK Crossing, Gulistan, Golap Shah Mazar, Police Headquarters, Government Employee Hospital, High Court Mazar, Doel Square, Central Shaheed Minar, Jagannath Hall, Palashi and will end at Dhakeshwari National Temple.
The return Ratha Yatra will start at 3pm on July 15 from the Dhakeshwari temple, taking a similar route and ending at the Swamibag Iskcon temple.
