Travel ban imposed on customs official Enamul

A Dhaka court has issued a travel ban on Mohammed Enamul Hoque, Commissioner of Sylhet Customs, Excise & VAT Commissionerate.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Mohammad As-Shams Jaglul Hossain passed the order when ACC deputy director Farzana Yeasmin filed a petition on Monday (July 8).

On July 4, in the corruption case against Sylhet Customs Commissioner Mohammed Enamul Hoque, the court ordered the authorities concerned to confiscate the land and flats worth about Tk 8.95 crore.

Earlier, the anti-graft body filed the case against Enamul for amassing illegal wealth of Tk 9.76 crore.
