5 ministers hold closed-door meeting

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader held a closed-door meeting with four other ministers and state ministers on Monday afternoon. 

According to sources, the quota movement was on the top agenda.  

Law Minister Anisul Huq, Education Minister Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury, State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Rumana Ali, State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Mohammad Ali Arafat and Deputy Education Minister Begum Shamsun Nahar attended the meeting. Awami League Office Secretary Biplob Barua was also present at that time.

The meeting started at around 1:32pm and continued about one-hour at AL President Sheikh Hasina’s political office.
But they did not say anything to journalists after the meeting.
