Remand plea sought for 17 including 3 PSC officials

A remand plea has been sought for 17 people including three officers of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC).
They were produced before the court of Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at around 1:30pm on Tuesday (July 9).
An allegation has found that questions of 30 recruitment tests were leaked in last 12 years.
The Criminal Investigation Department of Bangladesh police arrested them on Monday (July 8).
The accused are PSC Deputy Directors Abu Zafar and Jahangir Alam, Assistant Director Alamgir Kabir; Dispatch Rider Khalilur Rahman, Office Assistant Sajedul Islam, Auditor Priyanath Roy, Noman Siddiqui, Abu Solaiman Md Sohel, Zahidul Islam, Mamunur Rashid, Sakhawat Hossain, Sayem Hossain, Liton Sarkar, Narayanganj Regional Passport Office Security Officer Shahadat Hossain, Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital Medical Technician Niamun Hasan, driver of a former PSC chairman Abed Ali and his son Syed Sohanur Rahman Siam.
