Maximum punishment if allegation proved: PSC chairman

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) Chairman Md Sohorab Hossain has said that the accused will get maximum punishment if the question leak allegation is proved.
An allegation has found that the question papers of the recruitment test held on July 5 for the post of Deputy Assistant Engineer of Railways were leaked, and if such evidence is found in the investigation, the recruitment test will be cancelled.
The PSC chairman said this while talking to journalists at its office at Agargaon in the city on Tuesday.
At least 17 people including two deputy directors and driver Abed Ali of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) have been arrested. The Criminal Investigation Department of Bangladesh police arrested them on Monday (July 8).
In responding to the question, Md Sohorab Hossain said no one will be spared. If the allegation is proved, stern actions will be taken against them.
