Directive to freeze bank accounts of Abed Ali, his son among 3 

Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) has directed to freeze bank accounts of Syed Abed Ali, driver of a former PSC chairman, his son Syed Sohanur Rahman Siam and another one person.

It has also directed concerned all to give information of their bank accounts.

BFIU issued letters to the country’s all banks and financial institutions in this regard on Tuesday (July 9).

The Criminal Investigation Department of Bangladesh police arrested 17 persons in the connection of question paper leakage of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC).

The accused are  PSC Deputy Directors Abu Zafar and Jahangir Alam, Assistant Director Alamgir Kabir; Dispatch Rider Khalilur Rahman, Office Assistant Sajedul Islam, Auditor Priyanath Roy, Noman Siddiqui, Abu Solaiman Md Sohel, Zahidul Islam, Mamunur Rashid, Sakhawat Hossain, Sayem Hossain, Liton Sarkar, Narayanganj Regional Passport Office Security Officer Shahadat Hossain, Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital Medical Technician Niamun Hasan, driver of a former PSC chairman Abed Ali and his son Syed Sohanur Rahman Siam.

A case has been filed with Palton Police Station.
