CJ urges students to go back to class

Chief Justice (CJ) Obaidul Hassan urges students, who are protesting the reinstatement of the quota system in government jobs, to go back to their classes.

He said the agitating students will be able to present their statements to the court if they want.

The Chief Justice came up with the statement after the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court had ordered a status quo for one month on the High Court’s judgment to reinstate the freedom fighter quota system for first and second-class government jobs.

Meanwhile, he also urged the Vice Chancellors to take initiatives to take the protesting students back to the classes.
