Administration starts to confiscate Benazir’s luxury duplex bungalow in Rupganj

Officers of Narayanganj district administration and Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) have started to confiscate the luxury duplex bungalow of former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed in Rupganj of Narayanganj.

They entered the bungalow on Wednesday noon. 

ACC Deputy Director Mainul Hossain Raushani confirmed the news.

On Sunday, at the directive of a court, a team of Narayanganj district administration and Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) sealed the house.

A notice of confiscation has been hung at the main gate of the bungalow. 

Benazir Ahmed built the house in 2022, and he used to go there and pass night some times.
