Bangla Blockade to continue today

The agitating students have announced that the protest against the quota system in government jobs will continue the "Bangla Blockade" programme today (11 July) from 3:30 pm.
Asif Mahmud, one of the coordinators of the protest made the announcement at 7:00pm on Wednesday.
He said that the movement will continue untill the quota reform demand is met.
Abdul Hannan Masud, another coordinator of the anti-quota movement, said, "Our one-point demand is to cancel all types of discriminatory quotas keeping a minimum (maximum 5 percent) quota for backward communities in all grades of government jobs.
Earlier, vehicular and train movement came to a standstill yesterday across the country, causing suffering for the mass people due to the ongoing blockade programme announced by the students in protest of the reinstatement of the quota system.
