Students should stop their movement: Home Minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said students should stop their quota reform movement. 

“I think students should wait a little and stop their movement. Because quota system is seen everywhere in the world. All countries have some backward areas, like we have quotas for ethnic minorities and our constitution also says that. If it is canceled, they will never be able to come into the mainstream of society”, he said.

The home minister came up with the remark at the unveiling ceremony of the book ‘Muktijuddho Police: Mymensingh Zila’  and a gathering as the chief guest.
