Bangladesh condemns attack on Trump

Foreign Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud said that Bangladesh strongly condemned the attack on former US President Donald Trump at an election rally.

The minister said this while replying to the reporters in a press conference at foreign ministry in Dhaka on Sunday noon (July 14).

In reply to a question, Dr Hasan Mahmud, said our position is very clear. We don’t want violence in politics… we have deep concern and we condemn it and we think there should not be any violence in politics.

He also said, “There isn’t that much political conflict in the US, but the attack on Donald Trump is definitely a matter of deep concern to us and we condemn it. There should be no place for violence in politics. That is our message”.
