Milton Samaddar granted bail, no bar to release

A Dhaka court granted bail to Milton Samaddar, Chairman of Child and Old Age Care Ashram, in the case of forgery of death certificate through fraud.

Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Mohammad Ash Shams Jaglul Hossain passed the order after hearing in the case on Monday (July 15).

As a result of this verdict, there is no bar for Milton to be released from jail as he secured bail from all the cases filed against him.

Tapas Kumar Pal, Additional Public Prosecutor of the Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court of Dhaka, confirmed the matter.

The Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on May 1 arrested Milton Samadder, in a drive from the capital’s Mirpur area.

The police registered three cases against him in Mirpur Model Police Station on charges of forgery, human trafficking and assault and attempted murder.
