Students demanding quota reformation have announced a nationwide ‘complete shutdown’ for Thursday (July 18).
Asif Mahmud, one of the coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, announced the programme on Wednesday (April 17) night.
They called the programme demanding justice for the victims of the recent attacks and reform of the existing quota system in the government job.
“No institution, except hospitals and emergency services, will remain open, and no vehicles, except ambulances, will be allowed on the roads,” he said.
Every school, college, university, private university, and madrasa have been asked to make this shutdown successful.
He also urged the guardians of the students for support.
