2 KNF members killed in Bandarban

Two members of Kuki-Chin National Front or KNF were killed in a gunfight with joint forces in Ruma of Bandarban on Wednesday (July 24).

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

A press notification from ISPR confirmed the matter.

The joint forces conducted a drive in Saikatpara area this morning leaving the two KNF members were killed. Meanwhile, fire arms, ammunition and other equipment were recovered from the spot, said the statement.
