‘Educational institutions won’t be reopened without security for students`

Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel has said educational institutions in the country will not be reopened without ensuring 100 percent security for the students.

The education minister said this to journalists after a meeting at the home ministry on Wednesday (July 24).

“Quota protesters are issuing ultimatums repeatedly.  It will not be wise to create problem again by reopening the educational institutions hurriedly. We have to ensure 100 percent security for students before reopening educational institutions”, he said.

 “Currently the main concern is the HSC exams, and some exams have been postponed. The new dates will be informed later,” he added.
