Decision on primary schools Sunday

On July 17, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education issued directives to close all primary schools across Bangladesh for an indefinite period. 

Considering the overall situation and ensuring the safety of students and educational institutions, the decision was taken.

The ministry will hold a meeting on Sunday (July 28) over reopening the primary schools across the country.

Confirming the matter, Secretary Farid Ahmed said the ministry will hold a meeting over the issue on Sunday. Efforts are underway to reopen the government primary schools this week, he added.
