2,754 people arrested in Dhaka in 229 cases

A total of 228 more people were arrested in 22 cases on charges of vandalism, violence, and arson attack across the country in the last 24 hours.

DMP public relations and media wing on Sunday (July 28) said a total of 229 cases were filed till today. 2764 suspected people in these cases.

Those involved in the violence and vandalism are being identified and arrested by analysing the intelligence information and CCTV footage, DMP said.
