147 killed in quota reform movement, says Home Minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said that 147 people were killed in the conflict and violence during the quota reform movement.
The minister said this while addressing reporters at his secretariat office in the capital on Sunday (July 28).
He said among the deceased are policemen, Awami League leaders and activists, students and people of various professions.
Further inquiries are underway to ascertain the death toll, the minister added.
