Bangladesh has suffered a loss of 10 billion US dollar during the nationwide complete shutdown over quota reform. The amount of loss is increasing every day, said Foreign Investors' Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI).
FICCI president Zaved Aktar revealed the date during a view exchange meeting with Prime Minister's Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman F Rahman on Sunday (July 28).
Meanwhile, other leaders of Foreign Investors' Chamber of Commerce & Industry attended the function.
FICCI leaders said that the loss is slowly being compensated with limited online and physical connectivity in the country. But full operations are still not back and we are only utilizing maximum 50 percent of economic potential.
We need full broadband connectivity and transport facilities to exploit the industry's full potential, they said.
