55 senior police officers transferred in major reshuffle

In a major reshuffle in the public administration, two additional IGPs, five additional DIGs, 48 SP ranking officials have been transferred to different positions.

The police branch-1 of the public security division under home ministry issued for separate orders on Sunday (July 28). Deputy secretary of the public security division signed the circulars following the president’s order.

In one order, two additional IGPs have been transferred, while in another order five additional DIGs have been transferred.

Besides, 32 officials with the rank of police super, have been transferred through an order, while 16 officials with the rank of SP have been transferred through another order.
