Dengue claims two more lives, 272 hospitalised

Two persons died of dengue in the last 24 hours until Sunday morning (July 29), according to the daily statement of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

272 people were also hospitalised in the same period.

With the new fatalities, the death toll from the mosquito-borne disease rose to 55 this year.

A total of 5,768 dengue cases have been reported since January 1, 2024.
