Normal office hours resume today

All public and private offices will run their operations as per their normal schedule -- 9:00am to 5:00pm -- from today.

State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain confirmed the matter on Tuesday (July 30).

Earlier, in response to widespread violence centring the quota reform movement, the government imposed curfew from July 19 midnight.

Government also declared general holidays for July 21, 22, and 23. As there was no curfew from 10:00am to 5:00pm on July 24 and 25, office timing was fixed from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
