Another person, who suffered bullet wounds during the recent clashes centring the quota protests, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Wednesday (July 31) morning.
Abdur Rahman, 41, a farmer by profession from Narsingdi, suffered bullet wounds while he was crossing the road to go to Pachdona bazar in Narsingdi on July 20. He was shot the back.
He passed away this morning while undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.
Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) police outpost, confirmed his death and said the body was kept at the hospital’s morgue.
