PM hands over national fisheries award

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has handed over the national fisheries award to twenty-two people and organizations in recognition of their contribution to the sector.

She handed over the award to the awardees after the inauguration of the fisheries week at Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital on Wednesday (July 31).

Of the award winners, six will be awarded with gold medals, eight each with silver and bronze medals.

Fisheries and Livestock Minister Md Abdur Rahman presided over the function.
