Ganabhaban’s door open, want to sit with protesters: PM

Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina is ready to sit with the protesters of the quota reform movement in order to calm the situation centering the movement.

“The door of Ganabhaban is open. I want to sit with the protesters of the quota reform movement and listen to them. I don’t want any clash,” she said.

The prime minister made the remarks in a meeting with the central leaders of the Peshajibi Somonnoy Parishad (Professionals Coordination Council) at Ganabhaban on Saturday (August 3).
