All courts to remain closed indefinitely

All the proceedings of the Appellate Division and High Court (HC) Division of the Supreme Court (SC) will remain closed for an indefinite period from Monday (August 5).

Supreme Court appellate division registrar Saifur Rahman confirmed the matter.

However, in case of emergencies, the Chief Justice may direct any court or tribunal to conduct judicial proceedings.
